Good last option for cheep air cooling. 2009-11-30 I found my motherboard was getting warm. My cpu fan forces air at the motherboard and was not helping the front to back airflow. The cases front to back airflow was minimal. My case didn't have room to upgrade to 120 mm fans, or more than one front and back fan. Cutting a hole into the side of my case and letting one of these fans move air over my entire motherboard helped matters. Apart from cutting a whole and that one of the screws had to be replaced with a shorted one as I had accidentally alined it with the hard drive mount installation was simple. In use it is not that powerful, the plastic is quite bendy and I would not use it as the main cooling solution. However it really did aid my temperatures. Not by allot but now my temperatures don't rise when the other fans are reduced to much lower and hence quieter speed. The lights are a personal dislike. I would not recommend this fan for every cooling design or for extreme overclocking. I would recommend this fan if you have looked at your cooling and cannot see a cheep way to upgrade the front to back airflow. In a way the fan is unimpressive but at the same time it has enabled a phenom II @3.8 GHz, 4890 ATI GPU system to run at 20 C hard disk, 38 C CPU, 43 C M/B, 60 C GPU in a tiny micro case with the 80 mm CPU and 92 mm case fans running at 1000 to 1400 rpm.
